Town-Wide Petition Regarding Mandated Sewers

115 Acres of Pine. Not directly affecting me but I don't want to see my fellow citizens forced to sell their houses because they can't afford this.

No sewer project !

No sewers fir the amount of money it would cost each house hold no one wpuld even buy houses in Coventry. Also the value of our properties would drop drastically.

Just purchased a home in coventry. Was told i needed a new septic system installed. Had previous homeowners install it. I was never told by realators that a sewer system was in progress. If anything i was told that coventry wouldnt have sewers for awhile, if ever. So now i have a brand new septic system hat i have to pay yo get rid of. I also now have to pay to either hookup to the sewers or pay for the hookup yo be in front of my house. Were am i supposed to get the money to do this on top of all the taxes coventry already makes you pay. Guess i shouldve bought a house in warwick

I don’t think that people should be forced to hook up to the sewer system, and don’t think the whole thing is necessary. It could be cheaper to get you septic system redone using a home equity loan at a lower interest rate than the town charges for the sewers going by the house.

It should be a choice...not forced to install sewers

Absolutely not, why don't you reimburse the people that have septic for their investments first
