My wife and I are in favor of better planning and the availability of public input into decisions that impact people and the environment.

No, no, no!!! Please preserve the night sky.

Please look into this further and ask community members how much this is really needed. Don’t rush into it as it may not be needed

Please respect the residents & unique environmental splendor of this area. A structure of this size can not be unseen & while perceptively important, takes away the solace & experience that makes this region what it is.

another tower when one already is present is irresponsible with our Dark-Skies and our tourism here for the pristine environment.

Please engage the community and stakeholders and develop a strategy and guidelines for all towers in Bayfield County. Before that is done, there should be a moratorium on any towers.

People visit this region for its natural beauty-not for cell phone service

We are frequent visitors to the area and one of our favorite landscapes is the view at Turner Road and 13. A cell phone tower is the wrong move. Protect the beauty of this area and find somewhere else!

I would like more Information on the proposed tower. Why can’t the existing tower have added cell coverage?

This goes against zoning in Ag-1 on state recognized agricultural lands of importance, it will have a negative effect on the property values leading to an even more stressed tax base for the town of Russell and the Town of Bayfield. This is a danger to public health, welfare, and safety. This should be denied and protections should be offered to citizens in the future by the Towns and County.

We do not want this cell tower added.

Use the other towers, first! We cannot afford to have what precious little land and nature our country has left to be further negatively affected by structures, light disruption, and the. negative effects of cellular signal and electromagnetic radiation.

At least make it look like a pine tree…

I oppose the proposed cell tower on Turner Rd for the many valid reasons stated in this petition.

For those interested, the "Wired Guide to 5g" is a good introduction to the benefits and detriments of 5g in its various forms; generally faster, lower latency, and higher simultaneous usage in the higher frequencies in exchange for shorter range and reduced penetration of obstructions, while the lower frequencies used for 4g and low band 5g offer the reverse. As a low population area, we will probably not see high frequency 5g anytime soon, especially in the woods, and the infrastructure necessary for lower band 5g will, apparently, use existing towers. I get one or two 4g bars from the Corny tower twinkling about 6 miles away through a copse of trees, but have fiber optic for more demanding connection speeds, and feel very well served. I'm not a gamer, but, for example, I can already stream videos up to 4k without pause. If I understand correctly, the main attraction of high band 5g will be for machine communication associated with businesses, universities, and hospitals in cities, or for phone gamers away from home, not we unfortunate rural folk suffering with only fiber optic or hoards of low orbit satellites:) In my opinion, there's no need for more towers.

Certainly looks like more research is needed here and obviously, you're not getting the support of the community.
