I have lived in the Township of Grafton for over 30 years and am appalled at the boards random passing of a smaller lot size then 3 acres as everyone else has been required to do and I feel it is unlawful on the Town boards part to allow this to go on for farmers who are trying to sell one acred lots at my green space expense. There are reasons for building guide lines and I feel we as home owners, have been taken advantage of by a few selfish land owners and board members. This is unacceptable behavior and I am against this ridiculous small 1 acre lot size. This will also bring down the value of my home. If someone wants a small lot have them go into the Village of Grafton where everything is on smaller lots. And don't even think about any businesses east of the expressway. You have already made a mess of Highway 60 and Port Road. I am against this new 1 acre zoning minimum.

I fully disagree with the zone change from 3 acre minimum to 1 acre minimum. This will upset the natural beauty of the Town of Grafton and have a negative effect on wild life in the area. This change is NOT necessary!

Open land and a small town feel is why we love Grafton.

I moved to the Town of Grafton for it's beauty, space, and rural area. I strongly oppose the change in lot size as it will definately have a negative effect on the natural green space we so appreciate, as well as the wildlife that thrives in the area. Please do not make this change!

I moved to Grafton for the very purpose of the open land and abundance of nature. The zoning guidelines and acreage requirement was the main reason I built my home in the Town of Grafton. I would like to see the current zoning and minimal 3 arce requirements remain in place.

I oppose the plan to change the zoning for the Town of Grafton. Keeping the lots at a 3 acre minimum will preserve our natural, agricultural setting in this rural part of Ozaukee County.

I strongly oppose any effort to reduce the required residential lot sizes located east of I-43, between Pioneer road and Hwy 60 in the Town of Grafton from three (3) acres to a single (1) acre. I am quite sure this change would ultimately degrade the standard of living for those of us who currently reside in this area.

The natural beauty of rural Grafton is a gift for all of us who live here and for all those who visit. People and wildlife need the green space to thrive. Please do not change the zoning!

DO NOT change the zoning for the Town of Grafton! Whose idea is this? Lots east of I43 should remain 3 acre minimum with the Lake Michigan bordering lots remain at 5 acres minimum.

Don't wreck our joy of living here in the Town of Grafton by reducing lot minimum sizes to anything less than 3 acres. I think all lots east of I43 should be a Minimum of 5 acres.

I dont see any reason why I would support a reduction in future lot sizes or minimum square footage requirements. One of the main reasons we choose to reside here is that the town is not yet a cookie cutter version like many other communities. Let's not let the town become a caricature of itself.

I urge the Town Board & Planning Commission to revise this rezoning plan. I have been a resident for 28 years and cherish my "open and nature filled life" here in the Township. It is what brought us to move our young family here and it is what keeps me from moving into the village now.

I moved my family of 5 here recently for "Quality Life Naturally" and felt comfortable that we were surrponded by 3 and 5 acre zoning (R2 & R1). This is a real disappointment to see the Town Board's vision/land use plan for Grafton is 1 acre lots throughout the Town.

This is quite a shock, I thought it had been decided many years ago how the character of the Town would differ from that of the village. Who is supporting this idea? none of the residents for sure and I am one of the very concerned residents. Why are important zoning laws not upheld? what triggers this idea? I strongly protest and sign the petition.

We moved here for the beauty and rural feeling our town currently offers, and believe that values would be negatively impacted if 1 acre minimums become the standard.
