Hoping that the voices of those of us who live in this zone are heard.

We support the petition to maintain the current Grafton zoning instead of the proposed rezoning.

As new residents of the Town of Grafton we are deeply concerned about the direction the Planning Commission is proposing. We are further disturbed by the "govern down" approach and lack of concern for the constituents. The Town of Grafton is a "special place", and while we are not east of 43, we enjoy a large and peaceful property with an abundance of natural resources. When we moved from River Hills, we chose this area for that reason. This is a gem and as many others seek to move north of Milwaukee County and settle in a peaceful and natural environment, this will be a natural migration IF it is preserved. I don't agree with the proposed new zoning and I think the Town needs to have a more robust and transparent commitment to the interests of the citizens.

The large amount of comments below prove that the community is against this change. The town board needs to review and restore the previous requirements for lot sizes. We residents want our voices to be heard. Our land has deer, turkeys, fox, ground hogs, lots of migrating birds, great sunrises and sunsets over farm fields...we vote to maintain those standards of country living.

Would hate to lose the little natural beauty, open space, wildlife refuge, peacefulness left in the town of Grafton. Cramming houses closer together will significantly diminish the appeal of the town, and the enjoyment of Grafton town-life for current and future generations. "They paved paradise to put up a parking lot !!! " I hope our Town Board Supervisors have more foresight than that.

I want to preserve the natural beauty , wildlife, and wetlands as much as possible. Once lost it will never be retrieved.

We are very much against changing the zoning to 1 acre minimums. We have lived here for nearly 20 years. This is a unique rural space that buffers the growing village from the lake. Please keep the town rural by not changing the zoning.

I am hoping that the board understands why the Town and Village are different. And like Mequon we have a north shore area and to have smaller houses and lot sizes would change that area drastically and not for the better.

No to this zoning change now or in the future.
