NO!! For ALL the same reasons listed in this petition. Enough! We have 395 Apartment units already going in on Whittier and Westside!!

West side Drive is so busy now this will add to it plus need to leave some open spaces! It will lower property value for existing homes nearby not to mention more crime!!!

The proposed townhouses will have very little benefits but will increase crime and cause heavier traffic

We don’t need more housing in this area. It will ruin an otherwise quiet neighborhood with all the traffic!

Wedging a project like this between the railroad tracks and an established residential neighborhood is bad planning. The traffic issues alone will doom the area. Not a good idea.

I have been a member of this community for 28 years. I moved here for the great value, open spaces, and quality schools this town has to offer. I stayed due to the respectful and responsible nature of the people in my neighborhood. Lately, it has been disheartening to witness the recent increase in density and simultaneous decrease in character. I fear that rezoning projects like this are going to chase away the good people of this community and redefine this area for the worse.

I have research that says that low-income housing in middle class neighborhoods bring more crime than low-income housing put in low-income neighborhoods.

No! I don’t want this housing development in my neighborhood. Chili has enough apartment developments already. Keep my neighborhood as is.
