If laws were a bit more strict for E-Scooters, perhaps everyone would be safer while out walking in their neighborhoods. I have almost been knocked down and my dog.

They are a public eye-sore as they lie abandoned in the middle of sidewalks and a hazard to safety. They are a hazard to drivers and pedestrians and to those riders who ignore road safety and wearing helmets.

Scooters pose a danger to pedestrians on sidewalks. I had one harrowing incident where a scooter passed so close to me that had I stretched my arm out slightly, it would have likely been broken. It's inconceivable that there are no restrictions or very few.

They are constantly on sidewalks and zoom into the street ignoring red lights. I am deathly afraid I am going to kill someone who is not paying attention and then have that guilt, even though it is not my fault, for the rest of my life.

These scooters are especially menacing to young children, seniors, and others with limited mobility. They obstruct the sidewalks and most of the people who ride them are irresponsible and unsafe.

Scooters should not be allowed on sidewalks as they are a danger to pedestrians, especially children, the elderly and the disabled.
