Since the start of the reduction of the RRP of the HP Touchpad demand has outstripped supply, recognising this and for other fiscal reasons, Hewlett Packard has decided to complete production until the end of the current fiscal quarter.
All well and good - if you live in the good old United States of America...but not in the United Kingdom.
Being told by Hewlett Packard that the last production run of the HP Touchpad range will be for USA consumption only is not acceptable given the close ties between the two countries. The impact of the product since the firesale on the UK as a whole has impacted many a household. Unfortunately we have had the situation where staff of retailers have grabbed the product for themselves and listed on places like Ebay, Craigslist and Gumtree to make a fast buck at upwards of 100% markup on cost.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of loyal Touchpads fans have been denied obtaining one by this whole debacle which has led to a state of disenfranchised grief.Hewlett Packard is hereby urged to man up and supply at least a third of the products currently in production for delivery to the United Kingdom and if possible a further third to the rest of the Global community.

HP sort it out!!! stop ignoring the UK market.
What about us? seems like we are an afterthought again. bring more units to the UK.
Cant believe they are dumping them only in the US. Really poor show from a company this size.
Ridiculous that we get nothing over here. I have been checking retailers every single day and nothing is ever in stock. HP is totally dropping the ball on this.
Total joke. My local store had 5 units and employees bought them all before the doors even opened. Clearly they dont care about loyal customers.

I tried to buy one for my son but the site crashed instantly. Then I see them on ebay for 3 times the price. Really unfair for those of us who just wanted one to use.
