Since 2011, the amount of cars on the road has increased to approximately 150%. With the increased amount of cars, the demand for oil is also higher, it amount of oil needed for cars alone doubled since 2011. To reduce these these ridiculous amounts, more people in the GTA should bike to work. Don't own a bike, that's ok, because with One Bike across the GTA, you can rent a bike for as long as you need it and return it to any One Bike location.

By biking to work, you are reducing the amount of oil required to produce or run cars. What's the point you ask, well as the extraction of oil is a difficult process, it damages the environment. To get the oil from the Alberta oil sands or even from one of the worlds largest oil sands, Saudi Arabia, the company must build roads, and machinery, in which they must cut down thousands of acres of trees. The environment is being destroyed by people everyday and even a simple act of riding a bike can change the horrible destruction of our planet.
