We the undersigned wish to express our disappointment in the Chief Executive’s proposed restructure.  While all front line services are being asked to model 25% cuts, and some back office services such as Policy & Performance are facing reductions of 50%, the proposed restructure fails to deliver any substantial savings.  We call on the Chief Executive to revise his proposals to ensure that the burden of cuts is spread fairly across the council.
