Such a gracious man in person. Met him in college, I went on to work in at Universal, American Records and others. It was always a pleasure dealing with him and his family. He invented the word reggae, was a great live performer, who influenced several iconic bands/artists across several genres, No doubt that he deserves to be in the HOF

A prayer to count the rest of these votes in for my family that passed and gone and didn’t get to meet their Relative Toots Hibbert. Cecil Hibbert of Canada now deceased. I played That’s My number to him when he was in the hospital in his passing days. My own father Winston Craig and Maurice Craig of Kingston, Rockford ( their grandmother, my great grandmother Eugene Hibbert of Daguilar Rd. and my cousin Robert Craig in New York aka Dutchman helped produce many artists. Family here in Toronto are Hibbert’s Dawn Hibbert, Sheron Hibbert, Dennis Hibbert and many more. I’m Winston Craig’s daughter and was on stage with Toots when they performed at Nathan Philip Square in Toronto. I had the pleasure of singing along Bam Bam. When he put the mic to me and asked me How do you know that part. We had no time to explain as we were family and my dad was a long lost cousin of his BUT LET IT BE KNOWN BY GOD HIS MUSIC RUN OUR HOUSE AND WAKE US UP IN THE MORNING DAYS AND NIGHTS! I STRICTLY GREW UP AND WAS SCHOOLED IN SKA. Toots you are with my father and the rest of the Hibbert’s you never met. What glory he was and still is. He was our family member but everyone’s family. I went to his show for myself and my father who could not at the time because he was ill. His music lives for ever and yes it was spiritual healing, and Ska is what I Know and grew up on. Guess what NOW IM DOING IT. If you want to see me I’m on Instagram with dance compilations and music at cindyc_craig and will be coming out with all to sharre. My email is also cindyccraighotmail.com. Big Tunes Everytime Its Toots Time. Rock Him In
