There are few artists, from any genre of music, that were as "organic" as Toots and The Maytals. Who else could have written and sung a song such as "Sweet and Dandy", about a wedding in rural Jamaica. A true original, I saw him in NYC in the '90s, what an artist! Vote him in, please!!

Toots belongs in the Rock Hall along side Marley and Jimmy Cliff. A soulful singer who had as much to do with founding reggae, if not more.
