Tony Blackburn should be awarded a knighthood he is such a valuable member of our society and has dedicated his professional life to bringing brilliant shows to the general public. He is a precious broadcaster . It feels as though he is in tour home talking to you personally whilst sharing great music. His shows are essential listening for the lonely especially. A truly genuine, kind endearing gentleman who has the ability to cheer the hearts of his listeners. Please award him his deserved Knighthood.

We’re listening to sounds of the ‘60s on BBC sounds and thought it’s a travesty he’s not been knighted for his incredibly long service to the industry !
