Tony Blackburn is a broadcasting legend and deserves a knighthood

Been listening to Tony Blackburn on the radio & to since 1960's. He is a great part of our country's broadcasting history. He brings happiness to so many people with his consistent cheerfulness and sense of fun with music and banter. An iconic DJ. Deserves recognition!

Tony so deserves this, even my 18 year old son agrees!

Tony should be knighted for his outstanding work in entertainment and music.

Tony is unrelenting in his commitment and dedication to bringing music to this nation. He is so uplifting, knowledgable and popular that he should be knighted to show him how much we in th UK love, respect and appreciate him and his work.

This guy deserves it more than some of the clowns that have been knighted in the past

He is, and always has been, a brilliant disc jockey and should be rewarded for his lengthy service to the music industry.

Absolutely Long overdue !!! At the forefront of our ' Musical Memories ' ...since the days of Radio Caroline ...and Superb memories of his uplifting voice each morning before my Convent School in Ladbroke Grove.... A Genius!

I suggested this yesterday and I'm glad to that we are trying to get this to come to fruition,,Tony has done a great deal for the music industry and if any pone deserves a knighthood then it's our Tony. I love that man.

Over 50 years service keeping so many entertained deserves some recognition.
