Tony Blackburn has brightened our airwaves for 50 years with his funny jokes and impeccable timing. Thank goodness he has been the bigger man by coming back to the BBC after the terrible way he was treated.

Tony has been part of the fabric of radio(and TV) for nearly 60 years it is extremely surprising that he has not been honoured already - an amazing person !
