Been listening to Tony since Radio Caroline days. He should be honoured in recognition of his contribution to radio plus "his jokes".

A genuinely honest, upright and thoroughly decent human being. A rare breed in the 'entertainment' industry these days.

Tony Blackburn has been a part of my life since I was given my first transistor in 1965! He has been dedicated to the world of radio and made an impact through his programmes. Whether it would be influencing the public ( and Motown) to make 'I'm Still Waiting' a number 1 record or inspiring so many to listen to soul through his brilliant Radio London Show he has consistently entertained us. So many more thing I could say but will end asking that he should be lauded for his contribution to music!!

Tony definitely deserves the reward of a knighthood, he has been a beacon of humour and good music to so many people over so many years, and is one of the good guys.

Tony Blackburn should definitely get an honour, he has entertained us for fifty years and not put a foot wrong, like some we could mention.

Tony's unique style and soh on the airwaves over the last 6 decades has been, and continues to be, an inspiration to all listeners. This recognition would be most deserving of our much-loved and popular presenter.

It is well over due. You get politicians who've been around five minutes. And they get knighthoods, and Lordships. Come on Sir Tony Blackburn.
