Tony Blackburn should be knighted for services to the entertainment industry

I was just listening to TB on radio 2 and I said to my wife it’s Sir Tony isn’t it. I have just discovered he has not been Knighted. What a disgrace, if anyone should be knighted he should. When you consider he has been a national treasure for 5 centuries and look at those who have already been recognised it seems unbelievable that he should have been overlooked for so long. About time that was put right.

He should get and deserves a knighthood for the efforts and work he has pout into radio broadcasting in his years of being a very good disc jockey.
