Eddie and SKY are taking the piss. This is a SKY Sports level fight, and should be on SKY Sports. Here is Eddie trying to justify his decision:

I don't think he gets it. We aren't saying it's a terrible fight that we don't want to watch, if anything the total opposite. We're saying we pay a fortune to SKY each month in subscriptions and expect a certain quality of fights on normal SKY Sports. If we accept Bellew Vs. Cleverly as a PPV event then what next? Ricky Burns Vs. Kevin Mitchell 2 with a stacked undercard?

This card is not a PPV event. I will not be paying for it and I'm angry that Sky believe the event is worthy of a PPV event! It's a joke after all I pay each month! Some one is not doing their job right if they think it is a PPV fight. It will lose more fans from the sport of boxing and Sky Sports than it will make. Terrible form with repercussions for the future. Disgusted!

Boxing's demise continues - no wonder it's a minority sport these days. I pay Sky nearly £100 a month so don't expect to pay £17 to watch domestic boxing on top. Will be cancelling Sky Sports over this as I've had enough.
