Tom Waits hasn't played a show in Los Angeles in many years. A lot of people think he may never play a show here again. Let's inspire Tom to play one more show in Los Angeles! Here's how we can do it...

  1. Sign this petition
  2. Get others to sign this petition
  3. Leave a comment on this page expressing to Tom why you'd like him to play a show and/or what his music means to you

This may seem like a long shot, but Tom Waits is just a person like anybody else (only a fair amount more musically talented!). If he's moved and inspired, there's no telling what he may be willing to do!

I was once told Tom met his wife randomly in LA. I met my guy randomly in the streets of LA then went on an adventure to New Orleans, where Tom was the soundtrack to our drunken adventures. To this day his songs and poetry serenade the sweetest of moments, and it would be full circle to see him materialize in the city I love so much.

Last time I saw Tom Waits play was when Keith Richards threw together a band with Patti Smith and Tom Waits for a Johnny Depp Documentary.

I've never seen you play. One of my greatest wishes. Your the only musician that speaks to my soul.

Much of the music of Tom Waits is like a soundtrack of Los Angeles, and Angelenos are clamoring to hear those siren songs live one more time!

Tom, I can't begin to express what your music means to me. Your lyrics and melodies hit me at the very core of my being. I've never had the chance to see you play live, and honestly, you're the only musical artist I care if I see at this point. Now I know it's a pretty selfish thing to request you play a show, but I'm hoping you see something meaningful for yourself in it. Who knows? Maybe the boldness of unreasonable requests speaks to you. I don't know. But whether you play again or not, I do genuinely thank you for many years of music that made a real difference in my experience of life.
