Tom was one of the kindest people I have ever and probably will ever meet. I grew up close to the Alper family and Tom was always more of a friend to me than a 'dad of my friend'. Tom always took interest in what was happening in my life and gave me advice. He was truly a selfless individual and it showed in both his personal and professional life. His advice was always comforting and spot on. I think about him often and miss him greatly. Dedicating the stadium to his memory is a beautiful sentiment.

This would be such a wonderful memorial in his honor enjoyed by so many, and no doubt would bring great luck to this stadium for years to come! An Angel Over Our Field!

Mr. Alper was not only a great teacher who was their for his current students but students that went on to middle and high school or even college. And he did so much for the community. His memory needs to be honored at the school district that he adored.
