Season 1 was just a complete mess. You cant rush things when it comes to anime while Season 2 was way worse. Albeit the studio can have the right to deviate the main storyline from the manga, but it has to be worth it to be considered a standalone arc. So I say, a reboot is a must! MADHOUSE is the perfect studio to do this. Im all for it!
