I have not read the manga, however I loved the theme and the ambience of the anime. I could see so many missing pieces, and a lot missed explanation regarding why did Kaneki join Aogiri Tree, or why and how did Hide end up in CCG (what compelled him to join).

I have never read the manga but I’m going to soon because I’ve seen people say how rush the anime was and how much was left out compared to the manga. And honestly I love Tokyo ghoul I still watch it constantly to this day and would love to see a proper anime adaption of this show
