We need a remake by a good anime studio who will stay faithful to the original source material. The re: seasons are utterly atricious.

I believe that Tokyo Ghoul has much more potential as an anime. If the pacing of the story was improved, the audience might not have to resort to reading the manga. An anime adaptation should have enough detail to the story on its own. Also, the fan base missed out on an animated season 2. It skipped right to RE.

With such an abysmal adaptation, I would love to see a properly paced, and accurate adaptation of Ishida Sui's wonderful creation.

Season 3 has become the biggest anime disappointment I've ever experienced. I sincerely hope for a more coherent and better paced version in the future.
