Now, what happened to Tokyo Ghoul is just heartbreaking. I mean, we have a manga that is on par with Death Note when it comes to its complexity and psychological theme and it gets that sorry adaptation from Studio Pierrot. Not only did they butcher the plot, they also ruined the characters and their development. Imagine if Death Note had as anime adaptation a story about a bored high school kid who finds a notebook and begins to randomly kill people, managing not to get caught by the police because there are no characters with an IQ higher than 2 digits.
This reboot has to happen.

Tokyo ghoul has always been my favorite anime, but it was because I fell in love with the world and an beautiful performances it had. That being said the anime adaptation is objectively very rushed and flawed. It needs a more faithful rendition
I won't the whole series got ruined but re 2 got very out of track, while trying to finish it in 12 episodes, the ending felt tooo rushed . That's the reason tokyo ghoul needs or well deserves a reboot that hits hard with animations and a better ending
The first season of the original run was great. The Root A was a car crash and when they did re: they completely forgot about the show and kinda did bits of the manga. Just make a Tokyo Ghoul series faithful to the manga - It's really not that difficult.
Tokyo Ghoul by Studio Pierrot is amazingly stupid. Making an 24 episodes anime adaptation from 143 manga chapters is absolutely joking. Would gladly like to watch a reboot of this series from another studio (Madhouse is great choice). Can't wait
speaking seriously, since I saw a news report on a possible anime tokyo ghoul in 2014 I was very excited, plus the lack of many elements contained in the sleeve, lack of character development and infidelity manga made me totally hate this "adaptation"

if anyone deserves the full metal alchemist treatment its tokyo ghoul because these characters and the show jad such a huge potential but the show didnt follow the manga if it did this could've been without a doubt one of the greatest anime of all time.
