I was told today(5,22,2011) by a Verizon representative that if your a war veteran or active dutie military you can recieve a discount on your cell phone services ,I thought this was wonderful.I proceeded to ask her ''does that include any war verteran of any age or any year? She says"no they must be current .this made me angry because my Father is a Korean war veterand and on a fixed income as well myself on fixed income.I can not understand how a large company can discriminate against any war veterans and have a limit on who can and who can not get a discount .I think all past ,present and future should be able to get this discount .I love my country and I pledge to my flag and respect all who have been in the military, and I also believe that those who are handicapped regardless how they have become handicapped should recieve a discount.for unlimited service every month for my dads phone and mine we pay no less than $125.00 when your on a fixed income this is a lot .so if you agree with me please sign my petition so I can send this to Verizon in hopes they will listen .Thank you all who understand and want to sign this
