Don't know how many times myself and my children have nearly been run over on pavement as cars bump up on pavement at speed and look at pedestrians like it's there fault. I do have a car and am able to find spaces no problem in surrounding streets no need to be on pavements at school

This has to be done immediately I don't know why the council haven't done it before now!! My child was knocked down there and it will happen again if it's not fixed!!!

Its a nightmare when the school comes out as I have to get the bus with my granddaughter, the bus cannot get to the bus stop because of cars who bump up onto the pavement .

Big problem at most schools, ignorant drivers and no patrol at busy times. Children safety should always come first. Schools should be ashamed if they are allowing this to happen and the ignorant drivers doing so, even more so.

Roads are a nightmare at Todholm Primary, people park on pavements etc and pull out without looking kids have no choice but to walk on road! Thoughtless.

Great idea for the barriers yellow lines will not deter as they fill the bus stop !!

The cars not only cause a hazard for children but also cause a lot of the congestion at this time! Barriers would prevent this from happening as clearly telling parents repeatedly not to do it is not effective - they know they shouldn't be parking there but continue to do it anyway!

Best of luck, long overdue. A zebra crossing at keystore wouldnt go a miss too.

I am grateful for the council's offer to repaint yellow lines and zig-zags. However, I am not convinced that it will tackle the issue and would prefer something more obvious and restrictive to be put in place. If barriers are erected it will make it impossible for cars to park on the pavements and should solve the issue.

Cars parked alongside bus stop take no consideration into children leaving school and cars go far too fast along Road. Zebra crossing nightmare at 4 when nursery finishes and after school clubs come out.

The students are very vulnerable and exposed to moving traffic once past the school gates. I'm currently not happy and would very much like to see more safety barriers between road & pavements. At the moment theres high risk of kids stepping, falling out on to a very congested road. Not all drivers are careful or cautious enough. I've seen this first hand even on the pedestrian crossing which frightens me.

The parking and traffic at school are a constant concern. The zebra crossing is also a hazard.
