I'm 86 and like my wife delores and our daughter debbie, remember watching the first episode of y&r. michael just keeps getting better and better i don't understand how you could let such a talented handsome young man go, especially when so many of us loyal viewers love him. this makes me really sad, it's been a tradition that my wife and i sit down every day and watch the show together. we've become invested in michael as adam, he IS adam, no one could ever replace him. but if you let him go we will no longer tune in. neither will my daughter and granddaughter. we all love adam, he's a great actor and he makes the show. for a long time the show got really boring and i lost interest. michael made me look forward to tuning in every day instead of it just being a habit. if he goes, we go. please don't let your loyal viewers down. we've been with you from day one and will be with you as long as michael continues to play adam. no other actor could fill his shoes or replace him, it would never be the same. please listen to us before you lose us. we have a lot of friends who watch too and love adam, they fully support stopping watching when he goes. we may be older viewers, but us watching for decades made your show #1 in the ratings for so many years. if you want to keep that spot i suggest you fix your mistake and get mr. muhney back!!!

I have watched this show since the very first episode and this altho there have been times over the years that I haven't cared for storylines, this is the first time I believe I will no longer watch this show.

I love the character of Adam Newman now, thanks to Michael Muhney. He is an EXCELLENT actor and he deserves to continue in the role that he has made his own. I have watched Y&R since its beginning, but the character changes and story lines that are causing my beloved soap to lose its stars is breaking my heart. Bring Michael Muhney back. If you lose him, you lose the character of Adam. If that happens, I am done with Y&R for good. Bring MM back now!

I have been watching this show for years and you will never find another Adam like Michael Muhney!! Please bring him back. As for Billy he has played his role so well you need to keep him on as well!! I can't believe how your messing up one of the best daytime shows.

Bring back MICHAEL MUHNEY! stop the madness over there! he is a great actor. if you are having difficulty fix it---the public doesn't care about that....because on screen-he is an amazing actor! Please bring him back!

Keep Michael Muhney and put Eric Braeden out. It's time for him to go. No one is that powerful, that when he doesn't like someone that he can get him fired. Everyone's tired of "The Victor Newman" and needs to be the one put out to pasture!

You will be losing a thirty-year Y & R watcher without Michael Muhney in the show. This show has been taking a slow dive off of a cliff and this latest news pushed it over. With all the fluff that is being served by actors whose characters contribute nothing to the drama that keeps this show alive, don't eliminate or replace the one actor who glues the storyline like Michael Muhney as Adam does. If you do follow through and he leaves, I hope he moves to General Hospital so I can have another soap to watch.
