If you are letting Michael go, then DO NOT re-cast the role. No one else can be Adam. Michael is one of the best actors to ever grace the Y&R palate. Letting him go is a BIG MISTAKE. He is a big time favorite.

Worst mistake Y&R could make. You will lose a terrible amount of viewers including me. Without Phyllis, Billy, and now Adam, Y&R is doomed and it serves them right. Please bring Adam (Michael) back!!!!!

I watch with my son very day and have for many years. We are upset you have fired Michael Muhney and Billy Miller, They are the future of the show. They are who we tune in to see the most. Michael is the best skilled actor on the show. We are thing of finding something else to watch. Maybe a move each afternoon.

Don't let Micheal go, really this is what we get on 25 year anniversary. Michael Muhney is the best Adam Newman, he is the only actor that can play Adam Newman.. Please don't do this foolish thing, bad mistake, i have watched

Are you serious?! Letting Michael Muhney go? First Michelle Stafford, now Billy Miller, Jeanne Cooper dies and now this! He was the new Victor... and without him you have lost my entire interest in this show after watching since the beginning of this show as a teen. You've already lost Jeanne Cooper and you have an aging legacy cast to draw in the interest of us older watchers, but you finally had some cast members that truly drew the "I must watch them every day" interest of viewers. Michael Muhney OWNS the role of Adam Newman and without him and Billy Miller this viewer is DONE watching Y and R..Sad to say. I cant do it anymore. I have invested too much time in watching a soap that is being ruined by letting main characters go over nonsensical behind the scenes money games. ENOUGH! Years ago you did this same thing with Brenda Dickson with her role of Jill Abbott. Her character was never the same. NEVER had the draw for this viewer ... The character of Jill was BORING as heck after that. You seem to think that viewers will just absorb your actor replacements when we the viewers have became emotionally attached to the characters that have been molded into personalities we are drawn to watch every day NOT just by story line but by the actors themselves. SHAME ON YOU for not respecting your viewers enough to KNOW that its not just how they are written but the actors and actresses themselves that make the role and make the bond to the viewer. I have had enough. So sad to say, but when Michael Muhney and Billy Miller leave...This is finis for this viewer. I guess in this day and age its too much to expect to see a soap opera last anyway. The top rated soap opera will fall into ruin without its viewers faithfully watching. You cannot continue to keep replacing actors and actresses when we have bonded to them. No longer a viewer of your show after Michael Muhney leaves. PERIOD

EB (victor) isn't going to be around forever. Y and R needs someone to take over to carry show. MM has that strength and appeal to do so. I'm amazed how MM has been able to turn the evil adam into someone who you root for. Yes, writing is part of it but it is his persona that makes the writing work. Save MM!

I have been watching YR for as long as i can remember i have seen alot of actors come and go ,but this by far is the worse decision they have made in along time but i guess since you have two new people coming on board Micheal Muhney had to be sacrificed,so the decision has been made so why not go all the way with it dont recast his part because no one will be able to do it justice Micheal Muhney is and will always be Adam Newman to me and the writers and whoever is in charge over there lost a very talented actor and hopefully we will see Micheal again,very disappointed fan.

Kinda incomprehensible to fire one of the anchors of your show - and such a talented one at that. Totally unprincipled to do so to a good man - with a family - just before Christmas. It looks like the Y&R "brand" suffer for this. Social media is showing thousands of deserters. I have watched for more than 30 years; your show was a "saving grace" during my graduate year...and has continued to be a fun and interesting "escape" over the years. My family, friends and I have discussed the show for decades. I will boycott forever after January 30...if I last that long. Killing off a child was grotesque enough; and I stopped watching for weeks. Now, I am sad to say, I'm done. Really sad as there are so many good actors - and seemingly good people - on your show...but no Muhney, no me! Thanks for listening, old friend. Bye.
