I started watching Y&R when All My Children got the ax. Michael Muhney immediately became a favorite, a stand out. Talented, good looking, compelling. "Letting (making) him go" seems like someone is deliberately trying to get this show cancelled.

DO NOT let Adam/Michael Muhney go. Your ratings will drop astronomically! Bad move on Y&R's part. He's VERY important to the show! I miss Jeanne Cooper and that was unavoidable but THIS ISN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been watching this show for over 25 years. Leaving on his own is one thing BUT being let go for whatever reason is another. I WILL stop watching, this actor is a true joy to watch and very moving. So go ahead lose your viewers for a stupid decision. See ya later BYE Y&R. I will miss the other cast members but I'm truly sorry. Micheal Muhney is worth fighting for.

This is a shock letting Muhney leave Y & R. Why not let at least 3 of the newbies that can't act go and keep the best??? Muhney is a big part of why I went back to watching Y & R after you let one of my other favorites, Stafford that played Phyllis. Shame on you who ever you are that are letting the good people go !!!

If he goes, I will stop watching. I have to watch on DVR, and I pretty much ff through scenes non related to Adam anyway. All of the other characters are lame! Leave well enough alone! You killed Delia, I heard Billy was leaving... This is getting like all of the other soaps. LAME! Who is making the decisions around there? Pay me 1\8 of what they make, I'll take the job, and will assure that y&r keeps the fans it has left! what a shame!

Please reconsider bringing back Michael Muhney( Adam Newman) he's the only reason I watch young and the restless!!! All the other characters are boring. I will no longer be watching after January 30 if Adam isn't brought back. I might as well stop watching now!!!

Was in a state of amazement/shock/how could Y&R be so absolutely ignorant when I read this about app.8hrs.CST.I put an 8 hr.gap b/c i added up times when it was announced & the time I was reading.Apparently, MM was also On the Air With Douglas around 8PM.I hope the interview is archived so I can go & listen to it. I don't know what's going on over there at Y&R but the same name keeps popping up over & over from this soap to many othefrom I hear from people who really know behind the scene things.However, whatever happened here, Y&R needs to hire back 1 of the best actors in daytime. He's loved by SO many fans who have basically shut down twitter because there's not much on twitter except tweets about MM. All the the tweets are on his side and they, including myself want MM back!!!! All your actors are very good, no doubt, but in my opinion,MM & Peter B. are the best 2 actors on Y&R, now just Peter is left& I guess Eric B. but you see, that's the type of caliber of actors I put MM in. I believe it will be Y&R loss & someone else's gain if you don't rehire MM. It will definitely be the fans loss if you don't rehire MM. Sincerely, Heather Gasol
