I am a local resident who does not want the increased traffic, litter and anti - social behaviour that McDonald's would bring to the area. We do not need another McDonald's on the ring road. Filton and Longwell Green are more than sufficient!

I do not want a McDonalds in Lyde Green. There is a potential for anti social behaviour, increased traffic and littering in the area. It is also not good to have so close to schools & not a good advertisement for healthy eating which we are all trying to teach our children. There is no need for another McDonalds as the one in Longwell Green is close enough.

Im against this because it will ruin the area as well as promote unhealthy life choices by our children when we are supposed to be encouraging healthy eating

There are too many McDonalds anyway. It will encourage bad eating habits, create more rubbish that won't be cleared up and if it stays open late the Ouse will disturb the residents

This area generates a huge amount of traffic...it is a residential area surely we should be doing our best to reduce it! Please think again

I agree with the comments made previously in other objections. In short a McDonalds does not suit or indeed promote the village style that Lyde Green is supposed to be. The extra traffic caused by 24hrs opening will be a danger to younger persons especially as it is near a play area. The anti social element is already highlighted. I also worry about vehicles congregating and being used in an innapropriate manner near the busy junction and play area. It screams out as an accident waiting to happen and I object to the proposals wholeheartedly.

I do not agree with this proposed development. Not only are there multiple fast food outlets within a few miles and restaurants in the nearby area, when lyde green was first established it was marketed as a green, friendly, eco living, healthy environment with footpaths and cycle ways. I dont believe that a McDonalds fits in with this description at all.

With one at Longwell Green and another at Abbey Wood retail park, this end of the Ring Road already has enough 24 hour McDonalds outlets. We don't need any more!

Having recently purchased a house on Lyde Green I object to the proposed inclusion of a fast food/drive through facility. There is the potential for anti social behaviour, littering, increased traffic and it does not fit with the development ethos of sustainability. To put a McDonald's or any other fast food provider at the forefront of this development would set the tone for the entire site!

I live in Lyde Green and having a 24hr McDonalds so close is not what was originally planned and would have made me think twice at time of purchase.

Things like this will bring anti social behaviour and increased crime to the area not to mention all the added pollution. There is one in both directions that within about a 5/10 minute drive. Not only this it bring unnecessary traffic issue which on top of the large number of residents now in lyde green that has now increased because of the develope menu, why would you want to cause further traffic issues to both the Ring road and access issues for people trying to get to their own homes because in peak times especially.

Emerson's Green. There is a drive -thru down the road already, unnecessary to have another here. Would much prefer to have a gym or pool or something that promotes active living than a fast food chain!

I object to macdonalds on grounds of traffic, danger to pedestrians and residents living locally obstruction to a main trunk road and impact on family run local food buisinesses that are well respected and needed in the area. The impact on healthy eating initiatives will be undermined also.litter will impact on local highways and cause danger to local wildlife!

There are already McDonalds restaurants nearby, a fast food outlet such as this is neither needed nor wanted here.
