To Stagecoach: stop huge bus fare rises for children in Exeter (keep £1 child add-ons) 2018

To much of a jump from 4.90 to £7! Should of just increased the add on service slightly.

This fare increase means I will no longer be able to travel regularly by bus with my two children. I get a mega rider, so the group ticket option doesn't work for my family. Travelling with my two children used to cost an extra £2 but now costs an extra £6, which I just can't afford. My son is autistic. His special interest is stagecoach buses. He is devastated that we can no longer travel by bus. This fare increase is very short sighted - I think you will lose a lot of customers.

Ridiculous price imagine having more than one child.

Got stuck in town because of not knowing about this increase and being £1 short of the revised cost of taking a child on the bus by %200

I have two children per day psy 6f for tickets oby for Kids we have 4 kilometers to school now most of us walk because I do not have money to buy a daily ticket

I’d like the add ons for the explorer tickets to be reinstated too

This penalises those with more than one child who regularly rely on the buses.

Unfair for Families with more than 1 child .

Stagecoach shame on you. You should be promoting the use if services and mostly the next generation to get them to use public transport.

Wouldn't mind so much if they took better care of the buses. Half of the time they're so dirty you can't see out of the windows.

I used to use the bus most days with my young son. Since the fare rise I now travel by car.

I pay an awful lot of money each munch for a Gold Megarider. My son used to travel with me for a £1 add on. Last Saturday, we travelled in to Exeter from near Newton Abbot and his fare had risen to £5.50! Absolutely disgusting. Won't be using public transport with my son again.

Ridiculous increase! I will now avoid using stagecoach where possible. It's not like we get a seat to ourselves, in forever sharing with my son or both of us standing up.

With family budgets becoming tighter I used this a lot and think it should be kept.

Stagecoach seem to frequently raise prices, yet don’t improve the quality of their buses or reliability of their services! Currently it costs over £300 a term to send my kid to school, yet the buses are often late or don’t even turn up! It’s a nightmare. A greedy greedy company.

Cheaper to drive and more convenient to use the car, especially with the P bus times changing

Absolutely disgusting. Not only are you prces expensive for other tickets, you are now potentially jeopardizing families from being able to travel cheaply with their kids. The one reason why they don't drive!! Which way do you want it? Sharing on travel or driving our carsand not saving the environment? That's the way it will I if prices carry-on increasing. £5 in my car can get me a hell of a lot further than just a 2 way bus ride. Appalling.
