To Stagecoach: stop huge bus fare rises for children in Exeter (keep £1 child add-ons) 2018

This rise in child fare will make it financially too much for me to continue to use the buses. I try to avoid using the car, but when I travel with 3 kids, this will cost £9 and my fare. If you really want to address tragic congestion and air quality you need to make the public transport the better option.

£1 is a sensible fare for children - don't raise it

Scandalous to charge so much for children, utterly disgusting

Shocking. It would be hugely more expensive than petrol and parking. Should be free for children!

Not everyone has a car a child add on but mean I wouldn’t be able to use the bus. I have 3 children.

If this goes ahead I won’t be able to afford to get my children to a school that is over 2 miles away. Please don’t do this.

Outrageous price increases, local services for small towns are inadequate as it is without making what service we do have more expensive!

Completely inexcusable in a rural area where people need the bus.

Will have a negative effect on families from surrounding areas

How can this 200 % increase be justified?! Already struggling families who totally rely on buses are going to under unbearable pressure. Why don’t they review the free bus passes given to OAPs who often CAN afford bus fare and often use their free pass to go to work for their pin money jobs!

Come on Stagecoach, be a little more forward thinking, we need to reduce the amount of cars on the road - encourage families to use public transport...

It will cost me over £20 a week extra to take my kids to school just at a time when tax credits are being reduced. Double whamy!

Extortionate, this is absolutely shocking! Charge way to much as is it. School buses should be free! Mandatory.

With 4 kids this will mean I'm going to be using the train now.
