I’d rather be safe than sorry to many people invading my home area.

In London I can hop on a bus for £1.50 unlimited travel for an hour. I can get the train from Exeter St. David's to Exeter Central for £1.35. Why does it cost $4.20 to go from Heavitree to the centre and back again? (1.5 miles!). It's an absolute disgrace. Want to get people to use public transport? MAKE IT AFFORDABLE. For my wife and I and our seven year old son it's over £10!!!!! bONkerS !!! We will use the car.

The increase will prevent isolated mothers with young children from getting out of the house !

Many lower income parents rely on buses for their children. I creasing costs causes more isolation.

I'm a bus user and use the bus everyday and have two children. Stopping the 1 pound add on for children is a no go area really. I find outing bus fare up for children and families will stop us us public transport. Ppl will stop using it. I rely on buses.

It cost my wife £10.40 to catch a bus with our daughter recently from Cullompton to exeter. Driving them in and parking is so much cheaper. Imagine adding another £4.40 per child if she took our other 2 children. Pensioners get a pension but get free buses, children don’t work so why should parents be punished? In the Easter holidays it cost £8.80 to take herself and 3 children, now it costs £19.20!!

I’m a childminder who likes to take 3 children on the bus during the holidays. We visit the museum, cathedral, library, hunt for model rhinos when they visit etc and now this has become impossible to afford. It means that the children will miss out as we won’t be going at all! It will be picnics in Cullompton parks instead. Such a shame!

It is disgraceful. The bus company should be made to honour the child flat fare if a £1. Parents are suffering and unable to use bus services to get into town. Note it is always those from poorer areas who are always affected. The heavitree, leypark rd,burnt house lane , st thomas, etc. This is a scandal and must be addressed.

Absolutely discuss me. Ive gone from paying £4.90 to get in town to £7 because stagecoach seem to care more about money then keeping there customers happy

So expensive to go anywhere in the country. Surely there must be some thought about the quality of a child’s life and the income of the average family. The fares for children are high enough already.

Greed is a selfish thing - hardly not making a profit without this ridiculous increase are they?

I agree prices are very high and it's unfair for people who can't afford to pay the rised prices

If you have more than 1 child it's too expensive

This totally crazy to charge school children more to get to their school..... we need to have our kids in education.... means test rich pensioners instead

Stagecoach know they can get away with these extortionate price increases because of lack of competition! ECC/DCC should now get involved & support the families of Exeter who cannot afford to pay these prices & prevent Stagecoach from applying these horrendous increases.

This is an absolute disgrace I have just returned from Shrewsbury where Arriva run the buses and guess what all three park and ride fares for adults are just £1.60 return even better all carparks are £1 all day to park come on Exeter wake up this is how you get people into the City

Definitely make this happen, public transport is a savour to many families, but many families can’t afford an increase in fees

I think all the prices of bus fair should stay the same cuz sooner they will get to much and no one will want to use the stage coaches anymore
