New Jersey Assemblywoman Linda Stender has proposed a regulations that forces public venues to remove violent "mature" rated games. This is both unrealistic and impossible for multiple reasons.
Reason #1 cabinet games are not officially rated by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB)
Reason # 2 such games do not exist for public use anywhere anyway, so this bill is obviously a ploy to attack an easily exploitable community by targeting other unfamiliar and uneducated as far as gaming is concerned individuals to brainwash and control their thoughts in order for her own political and financial gain.
If such unfair and oppressive legislation like this is not stopped there is nothing but a long and slippery slope ahead not just for gaming but all hobbies for all people
