West Virginia is being barraged by new Federal standards that are found in the Common Core Standards. Unfortunately, these unfair, one-size-fits-all standards are going to have negative effects on education in our State. This petition urges the State of West Virginia to repeal and rescind the Common Core Standards, and to formulate an education program that reflects the needs of our State, not the bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.
