To remove the recent Iboss update from D211 IPADs

I can't even get into the bloody login for Iboss, meaning that half of the apps I need can't decide whether it wants to work really slow, or not at all.

I cannot download anything from my google drive to my notability. To make it worse, I can't even login to schoology unless i'm logged in under the school's wifi.

I can agree with you, but most of us have phones. We're gonna be distracted no matter what. I don't think iboss is all that effective. Even if it really did work, it would still just be bothersome.

It's stupid, doesn't work and it takes away time from learning.

I personally wouldn't mind iBoss if it worked properly, yes you no longer can play games, few some websites, but the functionality of my school issued iPad has gone to nothing. I have to do homework on my personal laptop, or by paper. I don't think iBoss should be removed, but fixed. The concept of iBoss is great, it prevents school property from being used in unintended manner, but (currently) sacrifices with slower internet speeds and blocking specific content. Hopefully D211 will get their act together and fix there multi-million dollar investment.

iBoss is so unnecessary like seriously it just makes doing homewor more of a hassle than it really is.

I feel like many students have showed no reason to be monitored and when IBoss crashes, it just makes everything more frustrating to the already stressed-out student mind.

I don't think filtering is inherently bad, but the quality of it should really be worked on. Also, I find that blocking specific apps is a bit too much, I feel like certain apps should be blocked exclusively in school because the main place those become a distraction is during class. Outside of school I feel they are often used as a form of stress-relief, and not particularly for anything potentially malicious. Or possibly put a time limit on how long you can access it in a day to avoid procrastination? There are a lot of ways to make compromises without leaving one side completely dissatisfied. I just hope that things get better for both sides.

It's ridiculous you can't always monitor what students are doing. And because of this I can't access safari and schoology at home.
