let's make it happen. Most service people get ringing in the ears, but us heavy mortarman are on a whole other level. I was gunner on 120 forn6 years. Majority of that was fired inside a tracked vehicle. All the blast was contained in a small almost enclosed space. It causes relstionship troubles when you can't hear the wife giving directions. Thinks I'm making up being deaf. VA doesn't do anything for it, just a 10% for tinnitus. Been in trouble with employers for not understanding instructions, etc.

I have been an 11C for 16 years. I am deaf in my left ear and required to wear hearing aids, and to top it off I have had multiple TBIs while on the gun line.

I'm an 11C in the Army, active duty. I have lost a lot of my hearing. I have lots of hip damage.... I worked with these unmounted for over a yr. Ive seen the concussion of this knock people out.
