I’ve been a 11C for 15 years. Glad someone with the intelligence took this fight and is doing a great job!

11C red cloud range,,, IMPOC and old CSC 4.2 platoon leader. Retired and 20% hearing eval. This is reality. This is the impact. I have always said, its the dust that comes up.... the fine dust as the concussion rolls thru you. Gotta have em as a tool but the toll is high on the crews.

Has an 11C I experience multiplied symptoms of the above articles. Yet the VA won’t recognize it as an occupational occurrence

I get a ringing in my ears that will last for hours, sometimes. I also forget things often. Find myself wondering why I was headed in a certain direction in the first place.

this probably explains my ear ringing and headaches. i do remember having a few nose bleeds while I was live firing 4.2"/106mm mortars.

This is an issue that needs to be addressed. Too many suffer from the effects of our own weapons systems and low-level blast exposures. The data is there! Now we must lead the charge.

Former 11c on 120mm for most of my career, my ears are constantly ringing and I get headaches more often than not. Hope this signature helps someone with worse conditions than my own.
