I was 11-Charlie with who fired thousands of rounds, both 4.2 and 81. We did not have ear protection in Vietnam. I also served on active duty as an 11-Charlie with the 24th ID, and in the Reserves.
I hope the VA steps up, but they won't.

20 years 11-Charlie...have had my share of booms. Nothing worst then firing from inside a 1064A3.

I was 11C, I lost my hearing and I wore ear pro. I have gotten concussions from being that MOS and shooting mortars. I’m 24 and fought to stay In The army. The tried medically releasing

My husband has lost hearing in 1 ear because of this. Yes! Brain trauma too. Absolutely!

I was a 11C from 1987 to 1992. During that time I’ve dropped many rounds down range. And in that time I have lost hearing in my right ear. Can’t get any help from the VA, had to purchase my own hear aids.
