To protect student design lab space for student organization use

As a member of AIAA, the design lab has been a great place for designing and building various projects such as Hovercraft and Aviation Design. It is a place where teams of engineers can gather to focus on their projects and bring them to life.

The AAIA lab space is a unique area that allows students to create projects that are fundamental to their engineering education. AIAA launched my interest into rocketry, and I still use that lab to this day!

Removing the AIAA lab would only do harm to future engineering students such a smyself and many others. The AIAA is one of the most active, well run and helpful engineering groups on campus and, they quite frankly have much better projects and are much more welcoming than many of the other groups. I strongly disagree with removing the lab.

I don't see how removing the lab and detrementing a very large and useful club at UCF is a wise decision. The purpose of extracurriculars are to engage students in potential interests for their future, not to mention the hands on experience it brings. I feel it a huge dis-service to the students at UCF if a clubs assets are cut down, especially a well established and run club.
