This is going to neuter Truth's ability to take market-share away from established platforms with no caps.
Users are going to weigh the pros and cons and they are going to want to have the ability to follow and be followed by similar numbers that they had, if not wanting more.
If they can't, that is a huge con for moving platforms.
It is notoriously hard to take market-share away from established platforms already and now you all have shot yourselves in the foot.
Just implement private lists and filters. Let the users decide how they should work their own accounts. If we wanted this crap we would have stayed on Twitter. You all should know this...
This decision was not thought out well. Especially when Filters and Private lists would have solved the problem and nobody would be angry.
As to bot controls, if you thought this would help, it won't. Bots are just going to unfollow everyone and refollow new people anyways. That's how they avoided the 91% ratio. They already have the code for it... The 7500 won't do anything to hinder them. The 250 daily limit will slow them down and makes the 7500 cap irrelevant anyways.
Think about it. Reconsider and roll the 7500 cap back.

The limit of 7,500 following is ridiculous. People are not happy. As a result, people will eventually leave; just due to this asinine, random, shooting yourself in the foot, rule.

2 weeks after joining truth I had 993 followers when they put the cap on suddenly I started losing followers and my number dropped to 960 now I'm slowly starting to build-up followers one at a time but how am I supposed to spread the truth without any followers? 1000 Followers would have been a big deal to a little someone like me! But I like to show my patriotism through spreading the truth. Lift the limits.

The 7500 limit is the worst idea. In three months, I got 7500 Following and now I can’t do anything without investing tons of hours. It was poorly conceived.

Mr President- I have written you over 20 times since you opened “45Office. Never hear or see anything that relates to the issues. NO TRANSPARENCY what so ever. We are in the rhetoric phase of this debacle. I have slowed down my time on TS, just not what we want. To many check mark people who are just rude. We know they were invited to join, check mark people, some of them are buffoons. Arrogant and not cooperative. You wanted us to join your club, it’s turning into the Mickey Mouse Club. Very sad, I believe someone is asleep at the wheel. We voted for you twice, we are respectful of who you are. However, there are many issues you need to address, we have been waiting a very long time for you to pull the trigger. For me, nothing else matters!

I may not be famous, but I’m a 20+ year Army veteran, who is also a Gold Star Family member. My family from my great-grandfather to me have represented this country in the US military and have fought, and in some cases, died for this country. Why can’t I be a “verified” Truther?

I support all 3 of these recommended changes to the Truth Social platform (TSP) and I would add 2 more items of interest. First: I would like to see a personal message feature that would allow TSP users to engage in one on one conversations outside public view so that we can share private information i.e. telephone numbers, mailing addresses, images, web links, and other personal info, etc. Second: a file sharing feature so that TSP users can share publicly or privately MS Word doc/docx files, pdf files, ODF files, ect.
