To ban dogs from places that have always been used to exercise them is utterly ridiculous. To ban someone from taking them to a cemetery is heartless. Put the emphasis on punishing culprits rather than everyone

This is an absolutely disgusting and ridiculous legislation change. You seem intent of ripping away any form of enjoyment from the people who pay your wages! Start acting in the best interests of your constituency! It is not the dogs that need removing it is you!!

My dogs are part of the family and i class myself as a responsible dog owner and my dogs are entitled to enjoy the open space just as much as my kids

My dog loves walking at Wootton wreck and medina field and off of the lead, with good owners dogs can be well controlled

Responsible owners and their dogs look after the environment. We are mostly nice people who promote an active lifestyle and look after each other.

I suspect this is more about an incompetent cash strapped council trying to save a few pennies on emptinging bins.

Think this is a disgusting thing to do as dogs love the beach and grassed areas. This is just down to ppl who don’t pick up after their dogs so therefore in my eyes should not be allowed to own one. Many ppl come on holiday here as it is dog friendly I feel this will put ppl off therefore affecting tourism which in turn will affect trade!

Dogs are just as much as a part of the community on the Isle of Wight as all the people. We are respectful dog owners who enjoy spending time going out with our dog. This law would change this greatly and mean we cannot do this any longer as too many restrictions would be put in place.

This is absurdly ridiculous! We live on an island and by definition, surrounded by the sea! It’s not only logical to walk your dog on a beach but also sometimes an absolute pleasure. Again people who abide by the rules and law (ie. people who pick their dog’s mess up after them) are left to pay for the price of lazy dog walkers and an ignorant council!
