Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

Would put me off visiting the IOW as we often travel with our pup!

Don't be ridiculous, this'll only encourage some people to leave their dogs in hot cars instead. Please have some sense.

This would be a disaster for the tourist industry

This is quite Frankly ridiculous there’s not enough areas to walk dogs as it is without upsetting some one , we must be able to walk our dogs on the beach even if it is only in the winter after all this is part of country living isn’t it . Leaves me speechless

This is a dog friendly Island

Its important that familey pets don't lose the only right to not be sat inside 4 walls 247 aday all year round

An absolutely ridiculous ban. We have beaches now where dogs are banned all Summer but responsible dog owners should still be aloud to use some beach areas. Most children’s play areas are enclosed now so are dog free anyway so, again, why can’t responsible owners use the rest of the park areas. As for Cemeteries surely a polite notice asking for dogs to be kept on leads is all that is necessary. Come on IOW Council put your sensible hat on and reconsider or it won’t just be dog owners that will suffer but our whole, tourist reliant, community.

Please do not penalise responsible dog owners who enjoy walking in many lovely places on the Island

You can’t keep dogs away from the sea, that’s a scandalous idea.

I’m speechless.

This would be a very stupid thing to do, we are a tourist island people need to take there dogs out with them for the day, most holiday lets do not allow you to leave you're pets home alone .

Dogs should be allowed in public spaces. They are so adorable and they interact so well with people. I hope you reach your goal and stop them from banning from dogs public spaces

Let well behaved dogs have their freedom. As long as they are well trained they don’t get in anyone’s way!!!! In my opinion dogs are better behaved than most children.

Please reconsider I love our Island...this would be such a dramatic change to our lifestyle

Dogs are less of a problem than children, they should mot be banned

We a holiday dog friendly island well at least I throught we where.

Not only is this cruel and unfair to the locals, humans and animal, it certainly won't help tourism, which will have a detrimental effect on the area

This will kill off so much tourism and yet again small tourist businesses will be impacted
