Stop the IOW council bringing in the ban of dogs in public spaces

I live on the beach with my dog. I don't see what the problem is with us using the beach. Us dog walkers collect rubbish as well as our dogs poo while we are out and about. Which is more than I can say for people with kids.

A step too far!

This is an awful decision. Our dogs absolutely love a romp on the beach and it would be a sad day when they cannot. Why not just leave notification of heavy fine if dog litter left. You would have lovely clean beaches and happy dogs and owners. Gutted.

Stupid idea to !

Been visiting two or three times a year for 59 years. The island beaches have always been dog friendly out of season, it’s one of the main reasons we come. I think tourists will rethink coming if this goes through

We want and need tourists to come here, with their dogs. We also need IWCC to put up more signs telling people to pick up after their dogs, to put up more dog poo bins, and to step up patrols to catch those who don't clean up after their dogs.

This proposed action is I'll considered and is illogical!

Ridiculous idea, being a dog friendly island is what attracts people and their families!

If this went ahead, it would definitely make me rethink coming over for a holiday. I wouldn't want to spend all that money on a ferry for nothing

We are due to move down with our 2 dogs in the next few weeks. A great disappointment.

Please don't ban dogs. If their owners are responsible at all times what are the problems.
