George Brown College registrar’s office is refusing to let students that have all course requirements but are still in their practicum to finish will not accept the Assaulted Women and Children Advocacy Counsellor Program into their program of the Social Service Worker Program. This is an outrage since AWCCA requires women to do practicum and courses at the same time which can be difficult for some women to complete at the same time. We are requesting that if the practicum is finished by August 1 that we still can be in the program of the SSW in May allotted that we sign with the program director and our practicum supervisor that we will be finishing the practicum in the allotted time. Please help our efforts in changing this by signing below to help women to succeed within the school system.
