Every year on Halloween kids stay up late trick or treating or hanging out with friends and their night is ruined because they have to go to bed because of school tomorrow. Then the next day the all are so anxious to eat their candy that they bring it into the school and get it taken away. If we got the day off after Halloween the kids at our schools will be a lot more happier. Thank you and please sign.
The feedback I have received from students confirms that the current schedule disrupts both rest and focus following Halloween night. I am currently preparing a formal proposal to present to the district board members regarding this adjustment. Please continue to monitor this space for news on our next steps.

The momentum behind this initiative continues to grow at a steady pace. It is evident that the community values the prospect of revising the district calendar to better accommodate students. This progress serves as a clear indication that our request requires serious consideration by the administration.
