On the 31st of March Cork County Council will discontinue the scheme which they are on meaning the rent of the accommodation would go up to a figure too costly, ergo the wouldn't be able to pay the rent at the new raised price to the family. This means that they will be homeless unless the council decides to continue to paying the rent. so this petition is to hopefully get some attention on the situation by the government and hopefully rethink the situation they've put their family. It would mean a great deal to me if you could back this cause and support my friend in a time of need, and what's more you don't have to donate a penny, all you have to do is sign your name. Also him and his family being forced to live in their car would mean me and other people who speak to him regularly wouldn't be able to do so making the situation worse off.
