Preamble:
CenturyLink Field, in coalition with hospitality and food service management firm Delaware North Companies, has begun offering a product, "The Beast" burger, named for Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn "Beast Mode" Lynch, to be sold during NFL games held at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
While the tribute is appreciated by fans of Seattle sports-- and the spirit of the chosen product name is apt-- it fails to grab one's attention, to appeal to one's sense of whimsy and creativity. In other words, it is an unmemorable, generic moniker. It shows poor marketing effort, where effort is warranted in order to truly capture the essence of Marshawn Lynch's visceral and tenacious style of play.
We need the help of Seahawks fans, Seattle sports fans, fans of the NFL across the nation, and supporters of large hamburgers and skittles everywhere, to help CenturyLink Field change its vending nomenclature.
Petition:
We, the undersigned 12th Men, call upon CenturyLink Field and the naming-powers-that-be, to correct their mistake and adopt the more creative eponym "Beef Mode" in place of "The Beast" for its official Marshawn Lynch-themed hamburger.
Until the above solution is realized, the undersigned 12th Men promise to boycott and refrain from purchasing any Marshawn Lynch branded vocal cord fodder. Unless we're reallyhungry.
