The current momentum confirms that the proposal for a new walk date requires immediate administrative review. My team is preparing a formal request for the organizers to open a dialogue regarding the schedule shift.

I'm one who participates in the walk and it is very inconvenient to have tired legs. In turn this ruins the participation of many in the good Friday processions, which form part of our culture. Such walk can be done at any other day.

Date should be changed because on Maundy Thursday a lot of activities are (and had been before the walk) being organised by voluntary organisations. These carry a lot of work, time and dedication and therefore Thursday should be left free for these activities.

Let us leave Maundy Thursday/Good Friday to meditate on the Passion of Christ and not to distract the people from the real significansignificance of this Feast. The walk should be done any time else... but not on Good Friday. Thanks
