People in nursing care NEED to visit with family members. It’s is extremely important to their mental health- there must be a way to do it safely.

There is absolutely no reason that family members not be allowed to visit if all precautions are taken.

Please allow my friend who has her mother in a nursing home see her with proper restrictions of course. Believe me they love their parents more then you can imagine, they would never want to harm them. they physically want to see them not thru a glass window, this is so inhuman.

Hi Nick, thank you for signing. I and others have been sending the petition to our local legislators, senators, other reps from support groups, and to Gov Cuomo. So many across the state have voiced their concerns over this 28 day ruling. Feel free to send the link to this petition to any of your local legislators, senators, etc. There is strength in numbers ! I am hopeful this ruling will be amended .. Keep the faith... FOR FOLKS CONFINED TO NURSING FACILITIES, NOT HAVING CONTACT WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, COULD BE A DEATH SENTENCE. EVEN ALLOWING VISITORS ON THE GROUNDS OF THE FACILITIES WOULD BE AN IMPROVEMENT OVER TOTAL ISOLATION.
