Dirt road behind lesterville units in William Street castlemaine Vic has become Deeca land and now tenants can not park at our back gate access or we will be fined.

This has only happened because homeless people moved in around our units and trashed everything and brought a lot of trouble to this neighborhood. Before that there was never trouble and everyone enjoyed our rear access point.

We all have parked at the rear of our properties for many years and this is our only parking for visitors. Now we can not have visitors park there so we can no longer have visitors or a social life.

All the units have rear gate access so why do we have the gates if we can not park or drive or stop on the land, seems silly.

It's a much safer easier option coming in our rear gates with shopping, furniture etc.

It's also the spot most taxi's pick up their customers from here, they no longer allowed to do that, harder on our disabled tenants now.

I'm told I need to get council to agree to making it a legal road then it becomes public land and we would be allowed to park at our rear access again.

This petition supports the dirt track becoming a road with a name at the rear of William Street units.
